Make Money With Affiliate Programs

Affiliate programs can earn you money in two different ways.

  • Sign up as an affiliate and sell others products on your site
  • Use an affiliate program that allows people to sell your products on their sites

The two links below are examples of the first technique. These are both programs I use myself and highly recommend. All you need to do is look on the site of a product or service you would like to offer, see what affiliate program they are using and sign up for it.

SpamHero - Filter unlimited email addresses on your domain for $4.95/month!

Affiliate programs are free. Some will require that your registration be manually validated, while others will approve it automatically as soon as you sign up. When you are approved, sign in to the affiliate site, locate the product or service you want to promote, select the code or graphic you want to use and copy and paste it into your website. The code will contain your unique affiliate ID and any orders that are placed after clicking your link will be credited to your account and you will earn a commission for that sale.

buttonAffiliate links don't have to be just for computer products. A wide variety of companies offer affiliate programs, from horse saddles to office supplies. You should be able to find something that relates to the subject matter of your site. Omaha Steaks is one I joined recently. If you haven't tried their food yet, you should. It's incredible! Great seafood.

The Amazon search box at the bottom of this page is also an affiliate link.

Affiliate Program for Your Products

The second option is to set up an affiliate program that allows people to receive commissions for selling your products. There are several good programs available. This is a way to get free advertising for your website. It's a win-win situation for both you and your affiliates. The more people they refer, the more money both you and they make. Of course there's some work involved in getting the word out that you have an affiliate program available. Contact me to discuss the details of setting up your own affiliate program.
